Young Adult Ministry
Our community pursues spiritual growth and formation. The young adults range from college students to young parents. This group seeks to intentionally build up leaders in the church, make disciples and send them out.The Calvary young adults gather for fellowship, discipleship, and prayer on Tuesday nights from 6:30 to 8 ish. We also gather on other occasions to just hang out. Activities vary from simply having coffee together to dinner to game or movie nights, to hanging out at our great Lexington parks.Check out our “Calvary Free Methodist Church Young Adult Ministry” Facebook page to stay up to date on the latest happenings.

Adult Ministry
Our inter-generational community pursues spiritual growth and formation. From bible studies to retreats, all activities are aimed at building faith and fellowship.
Bible Study & Prayer
Adults gather in the fellowship hall every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. We are currently going through Richard J. Foster’s book, Celebration of Discipline. This book explores the classic disciplines of the Christian life including things like meditation, prayer, and Bible study. The evening ends with a time of prayer.
Sunday School
Every Sunday, adults gather for a time of teaching from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in the living room.

Men's Ministry
Every 2nd Saturday, the men of Calvary Free Methodist Church get together for breakfast.Sometimes we do a potluck breakfast, sometimes we head to a local restaurant. We usually have a short devotional thought, and some of these Saturdays also entail work projects around the church, or in service to people in the community.
We also gather together each Thursday morning at 6 AM at Panera in Palomar Center for coffee, fellowship, and prayer.
The men also gather for occasional outings, such as fishing, and they often gather for church work projects. See the calendar for upcoming dates.
Women's Ministry
The women’s ministry offers fellowship and support for women of all ages. The women gather monthly at 9:00 a.m. in the fellowship hall and usually enjoy breakfast, a devotional time, and prayer. But activities vary by month, from events like the Craft Fair to the December Christmas Brunch. The ladies also have an annual weekend retreat at Eagle Ridge in Bowling Green, Ky. and contribute to various service projects by raising money for God’s Pantry, Samaritan’s Purse, and other organizations. See the calendar for upcoming dates.
